Randstad Professionals is actively looking for International Communications Manager

This is an exciting opportunity offering a mix of pipeline and established product planning and communications strategy development, issues management, and cross GPS/cross client's communications messaging alignment. In this role, the International Communications Manager will have the opportunity to participate in establishing client's role in new therapeutic areas, as well as identifying and managing important opportunities and issues that impact our portfolio of Established Brands.

Responsibilities:

- Work with Neurosciencesit will be important to ensure communication and best practice sharing within the GPS Communications team.
- Ensure alignment of global and regional PR/communication strategy through close interaction across client communications
- Manage the implementation of public relations plans working with internal and external providers. This will include external PR/Communications Agency selection, contract negotiation and the active management of the contract.
- Ensure alignment across the Client's network of communicators (ie, Group and Pharma communications), Investor Relations.
- Working with Group Communications, the ICM plays a key role in ensuring effective media management. This will typically include the development of media materials (Press Materials, Q and A's, Videos etc.).

Qualifications:

- Significant (minimum 5 years) Pharmaceutical public relations/communications, preferably in both global and local roles
- Has worked in a PR agency (preferred)
- Experience of managing the issues and challenges of strong company public relations/communications position, with diverse external interest groups. A solid grasp of public relations/communications strategies and tactics likely acquired in a previous PR/communications role
- Has produced a Product Positioning and Branding Communications Strategy: Understands the importance of consistent and coherent product positioning and branding strategies and the underpinning product messages to ensure PR/communications activities are fully aligned and reflect the key marketing messages
- Solid track record of supervising and managing PR/Communications Agencies or other vendors to ensure delivery to plans
- Experience of translating complex information into relevant language according to the audience; including a proven track record in creating and writing compelling, sustainable and relevant program materials.
