Our client, a large insurance organisation, require an Internal Recruitment Specialist to attract the best talent in the market to their expanding IT team.
RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:
- Meet with key delivery managers to understand roles, translating into job specifications
- Qualify applicants' CV against requirements
- Interview applicants over the phone/face to face
- Provide feedback in a meaningful way in order for our hiring/delivery managers to make decisions on suitability more quickly
- Manage relationship with applicants whilst maintaining internal reporting
- Positively influence processes and continually seek to find new and innovative ways to attract and retain candidates of the highest quality on a direct basis
REQUIREMENTS:
- You will be a proactive and highly credible recruitment specialist with a solid understanding of the overall recruitment market and will have worked in-house directly or perhaps as part of an RPO
- Excellent skills in building stakeholder relationships (at a senior level) quickly
- Proven experience of sourcing a variety of IT applications/systems development roles and those generally related to the overall project life cycle
- Review existing practices and make recommendations for improvements, eg: social media for candidate attraction (LinkedIn etc)
- Be familiar with forecasting and planning techniques and be comfortable working with project plans, with the ability to set up and monitor frameworks and associated action plans
- Be able to apply commercial judgements to the scenarios you encounter
- Be proficient in MS Office
