Internal Communications Coordinator

We currently have a fixed term contract position covering maternity for an Internal Communications Coordinator to join our Technology Internal Communications team at Sky. This role plays a pivotal part in engaging and informing not only the 2,500 Technology employees across the country but creating awareness around Technology throughout the entire Sky workforce.

Role responsibilities

* Supporting all communications channels including the Technology Intranet site.
* Planning and running events across Technology departments.
* Writing communications for senior management in Technology.
* Working closely with the CTO on visibility and messaging campaigns.
* Working with the Sky wide internal comms teams and Creative departments on internal projects and campaigns
* Provide support and guidance on project communications
* Assist with building and shaping the internal comms strategy for Technology

For the role, we are looking for you to demonstrate the following skills and experience:

* Previous experience and track record of working in an internal communications role.
* Great creativity - the ability to come up with new ways to get messages across using a variety of media.
* Imaginative use of creative tools - using a variety of tools and platforms to inform the Technology/Sky wide audiences.
* Excellent PowerPoint skills for creating engaging slide decks.
* Excellent written communications - creating the right messaging for the right audience.
* Great team work - we are a highly collaborative team so you must be able to demonstrate that you can work well with people.
* Ability to communicate and influence at all levels.
* Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
* Creative, enthusiastic and engaging, with a genuine interest in internal communications for a Technology organisation.
* Experience of Intranet management and development desirable.
