Interim Systems Accountant

Interim Systems Accountant is required to take a lead role in the delivery of a new finance system implementation (Access Dimensions) for this leading organisation. This remit will include taking a central remit in the design and build workshops with the software vendor, undertake the process mapping from the Legacy financial system onto the new platform and be the 'hands on' Subject Matter Expert through the UAT and Knowledge Transfer phases of the project. You will be responsible for managing the relationships between the business and the external software vendor, providing detailed proposals, and making suggested recommendations around the Chart of Accounts structure and finance ledger optimisation. In addition, the incumbent will need to ensure that accountancy processes are optimised and will adhere to finance best practice. The successful candidate will have a proven track record as a Systems Accountant/Finance Systems Consultant and have end to end full life cycle finance systems implementation experience. Ideally, you will have working knowledge of Access Dimensions, however, the client will also consider candidates who have experience with Agresso, CODA Financials, CedarOpenAccounts, PS Financials, SAP Business One, Dynamics AX, NAV, GP, SunSystems for example.

Equally, you will have a sound Accountancy/Finance background.
