Interim Senior Service Manager - Adult Social Care

My client inthe West Midlands of England requires an interim Senior Service Manager to work with in the Adult Social Care team. The role will have 7 Direct reports and you will report into the head of service.

The services you will oversee include Older People, Learning disability, Mental Health, Occupational Therapy, Physical Disability, Substance misuse and Sexual Health

Responsibilities:

- Manage performance and improvement of the staff
- Oversee and manage the casework risk management across the service area
- Assist a very busy team during winter demand

The suitable candidate:

- Consistent experience as Service Manager level
- Knowledge and Understanding of personalisation
- Experience of Joint working with a wide range of external services such as health, Voluntary and independent sector
- Understanding of Local Government, Legislation, Best Value and the Transformation agenda
