Interim Project Manager - Children's Services - East London

We are seeking an interim senior project manager with EXPERIENCE IN CHILDREN'S SERVICES for an interim position (2 month initial contract) with our local authority client based in East London.

The project manager will be expected to provide professional leadership for staff within the SEN Team, ensuring that they have the appropriate tools to carry out their role.

Key responsibilities:

- Responsible for the overall monitoring and performance management of the Team, ensuring that standards, targets and timescales are met
- Maintain up to date knowledge of relevant legislation and research
- Ensure that services respond proactively to required changes
- Create an effective learning environment within the Team

The project manager will be expected to develop and implement the Team's Business Plan, ensuring that it reflects the Service Plan and to recognise problems at an early stage, and identify solutions.

Prior experience within this field IS ESSENTIAL.

Other ESSENTIAL requirements:

- Extensive leadership experience
- Significant budget management responsibility
- Experience of building and maintaining relationships with key multi-agency partners to improve outcomes for children
