Interim Procurement Manager

Robert Half Management Resources are recruiting for an Interim Procurement Manager, MCIPS or CIPS qualified with expertise in EU Procurement for Elective and Planned services into hospitals. Responsible for a spend of approximately £20M through contracts for products and services within both Public
- Involvement with competitive Bid and Tender process;
- Experience of both public and private sector procurements;
- Good commercial skills;
- Experience of developing procurements with multiples lots including the development of the tender and bid documentation, evaluation etc
- Innovative procurement solutions.

YOUR PROFILE

- Procurement qualifications (MCIPS, CIPS or similar) essential;
- Significant and demonstrable experience of negotiating contracts for services to the value of £20M;
- Significant experience of assessing pre-qualification and tender submission documents, and managing supplier meetings;
- Good understanding and experience of EU/UK procurement legislation;
- Strong all round business and commercial acumen and able to deliver results under pressure;
- Highly numerate and able to articulate information to varied audiences in both written
- Ability to competently write tenders and reports, and to monitor, review and evaluate contracts;
- Strong project management skills, Prince 2.

SALARY & BENEFITS

This is an Interim Procurement Manager role based in St. Austell, Cornwall.
