Interim Finance Business Partner

Our Public Sector client is seeking an experienced Interim Finance Business Partner for a period of 6 months.

You will be the first point of contact in the region on terms of financial issues, reporting and performance.

The role will involve:

- Leading on all financial issues for the region and act as the main point of contact for governance and financial advice
- Lead on monthly reporting processes, including the production of the performance report
- Deliver accurate month end processes, including the regional financial report and presentation of financial information to Senior Management
- Manage the regional balance sheet position to ensure assets and liabilities balances are complete and accurate
- Assist on the financial governance process including third party funded project reporting

To be considered for this opportunity you must:

- Be a qualified accountant
- Have evidence of working as a Finance Business Partner within the Public Sector
- Have strong accounting skills and evidence of working in a projects based environment
- Strong evidence on delivering timely month end processes is essential
- Evidence of managing regional balance sheets positions
- Strong communication skills is essential
- Have strong Microsoft Skills, particularly Excel
