Interim Engineering Lead

This major player in the Defence & Security sector has an immediate requirement for an interim Engineering Lead to form part of a £500 million bidding team. The bid programme is associated with the replacement and through life support of rotary wing assets. 

You will be responsible for designing Part M engineering solution and providing relevant type expertise into design on maintenance position. Contribution to PBH, Engine and APU support contracts (requirements capture and flow). Responsible for liaison with OEM and other personnel in order to design the most cost efficient maintenance solution. Identification of basing options for depth maintenance solution together with programme of maintenance to align with minimum quantity of aircraft to achieve maximum availability. 

Desirable experience:
Proven track record in delivering rotary wing maintenance support services in a commercial environment. Capable of interpreting risk and translating technical solutions into the commercial team members ensuring a sound commercial architecture is designed and aligned with contractual commitments.

Initial contract is for 3 months with strong potential for extension.
