Interim e-Procurement Project Manager

ePROCUREMENT
* Experienced with implementing eProcurement systems - in particular Proactis
* Work with the eSourcing service provider to ensure thebusiness is able to optimise the eSourcing solution;
* Agree and maintain the process to configure the eSourcing tool to capture and maintain best practice in line with EU Regulations;
* Facilitate the publication of tender and contract documentation to meet organisational responsibilities for transparency;
* Support users in meeting OJEU notice publication requirements;
* Ensure the eSourcing module supports the embedding of best practice lean processes
* Validate and deliver training to enable business users and suppliers to utilise the eSourcing tools effectively throughout the procurement process;

PROCUREMENT
Provide a professional sourcing, purchasing, contract and supplier management function for a wide range of goods and services, which meets the principles of the Corporate Procurement Strategy and enables the most effective use of thebusiness resources whilst meeting the Client's needs.
Provide support to the Category Managers with procurement expertise in all aspects of sourcing, purchasing, contract and supplier management to ensure that the business expenditure on goods and services provides best value for money for the business and clients and meets the objectives of the business Procurement Strategy
Source goods and services and manage the supplier relationship to ensure that risks of contract failure are minimised, the processes comply with the all relevant legislation and the financial procedures

Who we're looking for
ESSENTIAL:
-Experience with Implementing and working with Proactis
-Preparing, evaluating and awarding of tenders as well as contract management.
-Identifying and delivering value for money savings within a large organisation.
-Knowledge of tendering in line with EU Legislation/OJEU

DESIRABLE:
-Procurement in Public Sector.
-Implementing Change Management programmes.
-Experience of working with eProcurement

SKILLS AND SPECIALIST KNOWLEDGE:
ESSENTIAL:
-Knowledge/application of procurement processes and management systems.
-Project based management skills.

DESIRABLE:
-Thorough knowledge of EU and UK legislative requirements affecting procurement.
-An understanding of the wider issues of Public Sector procurement initiatives.
