Interim Deputy Director Of Finance

The Company

Robert Half Management Resources are looking to recruit an Interim Deputy Director of Finance for an NHS body based in the South West for a period of 6 months.The Role

As the Interim Deputy Director of Finance you will provide full management support to the Director of Finance ensuring that statutory and contractual obligations are met and to lead on all aspects of performance and contracting. You will work closely with the Director of Finance to provide strategic leadership for finance across the organisation and strengthen its contribution to the Trust's activities. The successful individual will lead the Business Intelligence functions in all aspects of planning, performance and management. In particular the post-holder is responsible for leading all aspects of the organisations performance systems including acting as the key point of contact with commissioners. The post-holder will lead on the development of the annual and longer term capacity plan for the organisation, including the negotiation of robust and deliverable contracts with its commissioners. They will take overall responsibility for the timely receipt of the organisations revenue.

The Successful Candidate will be a qualified accountant with thorough knowledge of the structure, functions, culture and values of the NHS. You will be a highly competent technical accountant with specific experience of managing large contracts. You will be well versed in the preparation and presentation of complex reports to a range of audiences with exemplary interpersonal skills. You will possess excellent practical skills with extensive knowledge of IT, Contractual Management and Business Intelligence. You will have the stature and credibility to influence clinical managers and senior colleagues to support, counsel and deliver the strategic message of the organization on highly complex and contentious issues.Salary & Benefits
