Interim Conduct Risk Manager, Leading General Insurance, 6 Month Contract

Panoramic Associates are urgently looking for an Interim Conduct Risk Compliance Manager on behalf of a leading General Insurer based West of London.

The successful candidate will work as part of the Risk & Compliance function, to deliver the following in support of the market unit submission to the Leading Insurance Services Regulated Entities Board, and will be supporting the Business Assurance and Compliance Monitoring manager.

You will be responsible for the analysis of key conduct risk related processes including:

. Distribution, sales, product design
. Complaints management and claims handling
. Management of 3rd parties/conflicts of interest
. Strategy, culture and Management Information

You will also be responsible for undertaking an assessment, using interviews, workshops and documentation reviews, in order to understand current practices across the relevant areas of the business. You would then be responsible for recommending any suitable changes in approach, methodologies and processes.

In order to be considered for this position, you must have previous experience of working for or closely with UK regulators such as the FCA or its predecessor FSA. In addition to this you must have a good understanding of the political, legislative, consumer environments affecting the financial services industry as well as an understanding of the international regulatory environment, especially EU regulation.
