Interim Assistant Director of Performance

I am urgently looking for an Interim Assistant Director of Performance to drive and enable performance delivery across the organisation through the provision of high quality business intelligence.

You will be mainly responsible for:

- Professional leadership for performance functions within the clinical divisions with responsibility for establishing enabling processes and infrastructure,
- Leading the delivery of the Trust's performance review process,
- Developing a strategy and ensuring the effective running of a performance management framework across the Trust,
- Identifying the performance information needs of the divisions and CSUs and ensuring appropriate timely data collection mechanisms,
- Providing performance reports to the executive directors and the Board,
- Providing knowledge and expertise on targets, regimes and measurement,
- Monitoring achievement of key performance indicators and highlighting prospectively areas of potential concern,
- Co-ordinating the work of the Divisional Performance Managers, providing professional leadership and ensuring a consistency of approach.

To be considered for this post you must:

- Demonstrate in depth understanding of performance frameworks,
- Demonstrate knowledge of NHS Performance targets and NHS policy direction & priorities,
- At least 5 years senior management experience in a complex NHS organisation,
- Substantial management experience and achievement in an areas of performance,
- High level IT, numeracy and literacy skills, including MS Excel, numerical interpretation and report writing.
