Interactive analytics lead developer
Our client, a global leading telecommunication company are recruiting for an Interactive analytics lead developer to join their business in Ireland.
Position Title: Interactive analytics lead developer
Position Type: Contract
Start Date: June/July 2015
Duration: 6 months rolling
Location: Ireland

Responsibilities:
- Development of proof of concept and benchmarking on machine generated telecom data
- Guide and direct key technological trends by taking insight from IT/Internet technology in the field of analytics and data warehousing
- Deployment on cloud infrastructure (public/private, etc.)
- Discuss with customers on business requirements and present to stakeholders.
- Technology scouting, integration, tuning and contribution to major big data open source platforms
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in Java or Scala development
- 10+ years experience in developing analytics systems including ETL, data storage, BI
- In-depth knowledge and experience of IT infrastructure features for the deployment of a high performance data warehouse system for performance management applications
- Data analytic experience
