Inter-Company Accountant

Specification:
Excellent long term contract opportunity with this leading Financial Service client based in Edinburgh to recruit an Inter-company Accountant.

This is a manager level position that reports to a Senior Manager with dotted line to Head of Finance &ndash will also have responsibility for 2 junior members of the team.

The role is offered initially on a 12 month contract basis with a strong possibility of being made permanent.

Purpose of the role:

Primary focus to look after financial reporting control and enhanced of current systems. The role will involve month end reporting routines whilst working in a large change environment.
Key responsibilities:
Large volume of fund breaks for review and analysis
Manage complex inter-company transactions &ndash reconciling accounts etc.
Detailed knowledge of core ledgers and sub-ledgers
Extensive experience of financial control

Essential to have experience in Inter-company Accounting, ideally from a large complex organisation &ndash our client will consider application out with financial services.
