Intel Platform Engineer - Milton Keynes - 1 Month Rolling

My client, a leading global IT Managed Services provider are looking for an Intel Platform Engineer to work on site at a leading global retailer and join their team for an initial 1 month contract. The perfect candidate has had three or more years exposure to:

- Able to install and configure Windows O/S, 2008, 2012 (Standard & Enterprise)
- Hands on experience for VMWARE 4.1 & 5.
- Able to build and manage Virtual images under VMWARE
- Must have worked using HP Blade technology
- Experience of using SAN attached storage
- Experience of Networks and Vlans for configuring servers in virtual environments
- Able to build required servers once all the build requirements are provided
- Performance of tuning experience on Windows platform
- Some Active Directory experience
- Citrix experience The perfect candidate also has
- Exposure to building Linux O/S (especially Red Hat)
- Exposure to building highly available Linux Cluster (Vertias Cluster knowledge)
- IBM Intel blades experience
