INTEGRATION COORDINATOR

For our client, a major equipment vendor we are looking for an BTS Integration Coordinator for a long term contract based in Oslo, Norway.

SCOPE:

Responsible for supporting all aspects of Integrations in the project by assisting the Integration manager with different project management and data input tasks. A good level of customer service is essential.

OVERVIEW:

- Follow-up on activities of TI Equipment (BTS) Installation Contractors
- Coordinate and manage the activities of Integration Installation Contractors
- Assisting the Phase Manager in the allocation of sites for Integration to Equipment Installation Contractors
- Liaising between the Equipment Installation Contractors and the Operations personnel to finalize acceptable installation
- Coordinate Integration Hand-Over Documentation submittal and approval
- Ensuring that the Integration-related milestones are achieved within the required time
- Reporting Integration & testing progress of sites to the Phase and Integration Managers
- Escalating issues to the Integration Manager. Anything not within the standard processes, time frames, costs or scopes.
- Controlling related extra costs (in collaboration with the Phase Managers where required) for the sites within the control of the Integration team

DAILY TASKS:

- Communication with Integration Manager/Integration Contractors/Phase Managers/TI Manager/Transmission Planners/Radio Planners regarding the integration planning.
- Phone meetings with Integration Contractors regularly to discuss the planning/delivery of integrations
- Receive, track and escalate Integration related Issues from the Integration Contractors
- Internal meetings with regards to Integration
- Understanding the requirements/priority from the Integration manager is essential for these meetings
- Updating IPM/Site tracking tool with Integration dates for Forecast and Actual.
- Track daily progress of Integrations
- Take ownership of Integration Topology spreadsheet
- Updating the spreadsheet based on the current design of the network
- Updating the Transmission delivery information
- Updating the Integration readiness information

WEEKLY TASKS:

- Internal weekly report in Hotline format
- Major achievements, issues with Commissioning and Integration status reports
- Handling documentation of Integration
- Verify the Site Installation, TRM and Rectifier Test Reports documentation is available before Integration
- Verify the BTS Test Report documentation is available after Integration

QUALIFICATIONS:

- Excellent knowledge of office tools
- Excellent communication skills in English (and preferably Norwegian)
- Likes to be on top of things and is not afraid to follow up and ask in a friendly manner prerequisite tasks from other people.
- At least 3 years experience in roll out support of projects
- General Telecommunication knowledge
