RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Looking for an information management (Integration/Business Intelligence) Manager for the Financial Services delivery unit to provide technical expertise in the area of Business Intelligence and data integration software development.
- This individual will primarily have a client delivery focus and will assist with business development as a solution creator.

QUALIFICATIONS:

- 8+ years of consulting experience related to software development (eg software development, integration, etc.) using data integration/ETL technologies and business skills (eg business analysis/process, etc.).
- Experience with leading Integration/Business Intelligence projects within the Financial Services/Banking sector desired.
- 5+ years of design and development experience in data integration and Business Intelligence solutions.
- Experience with complete SDLC life cycle in this area, including but not limited to requirements gathering, data analysis, design, development, QA, deployment.
- Minimum of two end to end projects completed from ETL/integration/system requirements, ETL Design, ETL configuration/development and database data modelling activities.
- Expertise with leading Extract Transform Load (ETL) tools (Informatica or DataStage would be preferred, Microsoft SSIS less preferred but acceptable). Certification would be preferred.
- Experience with additional Business Intelligence tools from IBM (Cognos, DataStage), and Microsoft preferred.
- Possess knowledge of the inherent challenges for a Data Integration/Business Intelligence Implementations and Data Integration/Business Intelligence Methodology.
- Ability to perform information management assessments (review of needs, data quality, data security, etc.) and create detailed strategy and roadmaps surrounding data warehousing, integration, and/or analytics.
- Ability to work with IT and business personnel.
- Ability to lead a team of 5-10 software developers from requirements to implementation.
- Ability to accurately estimate the ETL and Data Architecture components of data integration, Business Intelligence, Analytics,
- Reporting and Data Warehouse delivery projects
- Experience with projects and familiarity with terminologies in the financial services industry would be preferred
- Strong understanding of database design and implementation techniques on MS SQL Server, Oracle and DB2 required.
- Database tuning experience a plus.
- Strong conceptual thinking skills, creativity and flexibility.
- Strong analytical, attention to detail, organizational and core project management skills.
- Strong teamwork, communication and customer service skills.
- This position requires travel to client sites at times up to 80%.
