Projektbeschreibung
As an integration analyst, you will be working as part of the team building and maintaining the Pegasus platform (middleware). You will represent Pegasus as integration platform in the context of a project, where you need to act as the glue between the different applications, both on a functional level and an organizational level.
In addition, as integration analyst, you will contribute to the overall progress of the Pegasus platform by (for example) helping to expand and maintain the Integration Document Library, or promoting re-use of existing services.
Responsibilities Integration analyst :
- Coordinate with the Integration Solution Architect to identify the integration approach from a technical perspective
o Identify services that can be reused
o Identify services to be developed
o Decide whether flows will be implemented on the BizTalk platform or using WCF services or a combination of both
- Analyzing the (functional) requirements from an integration perspective
- Together with the Solution Architect and different team leads, assemble a virtual integration development team, consisting of developers from the involved application teams
- Leading workshops to gather requirements (from integration perspective) and define an approach together with the involved applications
- Steering the virtual development team - setting priorities
- Coordination between (and follow up of) the different parties involved in the integration
- Reporting progress status to management
- Creating and maintaining a planning
- Guide the integration testing:
o Coordination of the testing (prepare prerequisites such as test data)
o Communication of the testing approach to all parties involved
o Organize error handling after the testing with the different involved teams
- Quality control of deliverables, both from the Pegasus platform as for the documentation concerning the other involved applications
o Identify impact of changes on documentation and being able to adapt the documentation accordingly
Technical skills Integration analyst :
- Enterprise Architect and UML
- WSDL and XML/XSD
- MS Office : Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
- Familiar with SOA
- Familiar with BPMN
- Familiar with SOAP UI
- Familiar with testing methodologies
- Experience in utilities sector is a plus
Personal skills Integration analyst :
- Languages : French - Dutch - English
- Leading workshops to determine an approach
- Holistic: you should be able to always keep the bigger picture in mind, as the integration covers and end-to-end process
- Well-organized : being able to deal with different 'tracks' in parallel
- Analytical & detail-oriented - especially when dealing with data modelling and analysis
- Result-oriented: be assertive enough to 'chase' people
