Instrumentation & Controls Systems Engineer Job

INSTRUMENTATION & CONTROLS SYSTEMS ENGINEER needed for a CONTRACT opportunity with Yoh's client located in TOWANDA, PA.

THE BIG PICTURE - TOP SKILLS YOU SHOULD POSSESS:

- Experience in Industrial or Field service setting.
- Ability to read Electrical and P& I diagrams.
- Technical degree.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- Auditing controls systems to ensure switch settings and cable positions are documented. Any deficiencies would require documenting the equipment using Word, Excel, Bailey CAD & Photos.
- Audit Software Back Up systems to ensure the backups are being done correctly and backup media can be restored in the event of a hardware failure.
- Conducting Go/No Go tests on unused boards to determine functionality.
- Inventorying parts and cataloging part numbers and software revisions.
- Collecting data from controls systems to determine if the control loops are in or out of control.

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

- Industrial or Field Service experience.
- Ability to read Electrical and P&I diagrams.
- Technical degree.
- Experience with Allen Bradley drives and PLCs preferred.
