Instrumentation and Control Engineer/Public Sector and O and G

A large government organisation based around theUKis currently looking for an Instrumentation and Control Engineer to joining their ranks. This company is a government body who work on Health and Safety within a range of sectors including Oil and Gas, Energy Production, Chemical and Pharmaceutical production, storage and mines and explosives and pipelines. Your main responsibility is to address Major Accident hazard in relation to Control and Instrumentation in onshore major hazard installations which includes oil refineries, oil and gas storage, chemicals production and some nuclear sites. You will: -Have a proven track record in process control, safety Instrumented systems and equipment in flammable atmospheres in the chemical or related process industry -A degree of HNC/HND -Strong Instrumentation and Control experience in one of the industries listed above This is an urgent position which will have a lot of applications.
