My client is seeking an English Language Trainer with a postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE), Learning and Teaching in Higher Education Certificate or equivalent such as DELTA to join their exciting and friendly culture. Training experience is desired however my client is open minded. This is a fantastic 11 week contract to delivery high quality training to Saudi summer school candidates.

RESPONSIBILITIES

MAIN TASKS:

- Deliver Instruction in English Language Training in accordance ISPECs as required by the training programme
- Undertake direct support tasks including preparatory work for training delivery activity, post-delivery assessments and post-delivery activities
- Provide SME input into the Training design activities including ISPEC/ASPEC and low level media production
- Ensure Company health, safety and environmental procedures are implemented and complied with at all times for all employees under your direction

OTHER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Carries out any other appropriate task that may be required from time to time
- Employees are responsible for their own Health and Safety and that of work colleagues and also students in their care
- The nature of RN training requires a high degree of flexibility for all FOAP staff; there will be a requirement for travel between FOAP delivery sites within the UK

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS

TECHNICAL EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:

- Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) or Learning and Teaching in Higher Education Certificate or equivalent such as DELTA - Essential
- UK Undergraduate Degree - Desirable
- TESOL Certificate or equivalent - Essential
- Minimum 1 years' experience teaching English to speakers of other languages - Essential
- DCTS Defence Train The Trainer Course (successful completion) or equivalent - Desirable
- ILM Level 3 Award (Workplace Coaching for Team Leaders and First Line Management) - Desirable
- ECDL or equivalent demonstrable proficiency in using IT (hardware/software) within the workplace - Desirable
