Inspector

Large Company located in the Central Florida area has Immediate need for Multiple Quality Inspector with Level 2 Certification (PT, MT, UT, VT, RT). Experience will include set up and operation of various types of computerized and state-of-the-art nondestructive test equipment determining the most effective inspection methods to be used for each specific application. This is a temporary-to-hire position.

RESPONSIBILITIES

- Read and interpret drawings and specifications verifying specified dimensions of parts or material.
- Will document inspection and report findings to Engineering and assist with technical evaluation of components to include life assessment.
- Requires testing product for structural defects such as leaks or internal cracks and make judgment on inspection findings and make technical recommendations.

REQUIREMENTS

- Associate's degree (AA) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or at least five (5) years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Must have competency in eddy current, ultrasonic, radiographic, FPI, visual, and thermographic inspection techniques.
- Experience with ASNT standards and the ability to support ISO 9001 audits and compliance efforts.
- Experience with examining material or product for defects such as cracks, porosity, and incomplete welds
- Requires testing product for structural defects such as leaks or internal cracks and make judgment on inspection findings and make technical recommendations.
- Experience with manufacturing of large turbo-machinery is desired but not required.
