My client, a market leader in central Leeds is currently recruiting an Insight Manager to join their team on a 6 month fixed term contract to provide maternity cover. In order to be considered for this position, you will have extensive experience in insight analysis/data analysis/marketing analysis and will be an expert in Base SAS or SAS STAT programming. A mathematics related degree is highly advantageous, and you will have experience in managing trams of Insight/Data/Marketing Analysts.

Responsibilities
*As an Insight Manager, you will be responsible for the following;
*Manage a team of Insight Analysts (approx 5), supporting them on their projects as well as managing your own projects
*Schedule and allocate analytical resource to projects
*Provide analytical support to clients operating in the marketing arena using SAS
*Achieve marketing objectives such as acquisition, cross sell, up sell, reactivation, retention, segmentation
*Delivery of a variety of projects including profiling, segmentation and targeting models.
*They are expected to meet with clients to discuss their requirements, identify opportunities and deliver the solutions developed.
*Using and interpreting advanced statistical techniques and measures for Datamodelling and exploration.
*Providing input to campaign planning, making suitable recommendations for selections and future campaign improvements.
*Creating contact strategies for clients, bringing together all channels of communication.
*Writing proposals, pitch documents and attending pitch meetings.

Skills/Experience
As an Insight Manager you will be experienced in the following;

*Extensive experience in an analytical environment, marketing experience essential
*Expert Base SAS and SAS STAT programming skills essential
*The ability to convert and pre-process data ready for analysis, creating single customer views (scv's), writing macros and arrays and be able to optimise code
*Strong team management experience
*Ability to build models using CHAID, Regression and Clustering techniques
*Support the other members of the team when learning and carrying out statistical projects.
*A good understanding of further statistical techniques such as factor analysis and variable clustering is also required, along with sound knowledge on variable transformations.
*Expert user of Microsoft Office
*Experience of presenting to different levels within an organisation essential
*A good understanding of consumer and business data.
*Ability to work under own initiative and to tight deadlines essential
