Infrastructure Support Analyst

For this contract position with the world's leading software corporation, you will provide the highest level of technical support and consulting to other support and systems analysts by solving highly complex support problems. Responsibilities will include executing procedures to accomplish business goals, coordinating and managing acceptance of new releases into production.

CONFIGURATION/INSTALLATION OF:

- Hyper-V management and configuration (WS 2012 knowledge a plus)
- SQL Server configuration and management (SQL 2012 knowledge a plus)
- Windows Failover Clusters: management/monitoring
- SQL Server database maintenance (backups, restores)
- SQL Server Agent Job monitoring (history, investigation, configuration)
- Network basics (ping, Telnet, tracert, etc.)

QUALIFICATIONS:

- 4 plus years work related experience
- Strong understanding of software products and networking required
- Strong problem resolution, decision making and analytical skills required
- Good leadership skills along with project management and customer service skills
- Strong documentation skills, ability to maintain and improve documentation with partial details, write process documentation for new procedures
- Ability to maintain communication SLAs with stakeholders
- Remote work up to 50%
