INFRASTRUCTURE PROJECT MANAGER - BANKING IT
Our key banking client is seeking a strong Infrastructure Project Manager to work on a large IT project relating to Distributed Systems and Storage.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING:
- Managing all aspects of the project, which includes planning, execution, timing, quality, cost and early identification of potential issues
- Manage a team of experienced Project Managers, either directly or as part of a Matrix organization, ensuring efficient use of resources
- Identify and manage senior stakeholders and clients, evaluate their interests and establish effective communication channels ensuring effective stakeholder management and engagement
CANDIDATES SHOULD HAVE THE FOLLOWING EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS:
- Good technical Understanding about Infrastructure Technology
- Distributed Systems(virtualization)/Knowledge of MidRange & Mainframe preferred
- Understanding of Network Topology & Storage (SAN & NAS) also preferred
- Ability to operate independently and make decisions where to focus attention and resolve issues without constant Management involvement
- Ability to decide and determine problems that need to be brought to management attention to resolve
- Experience with Direct Financial Budget responsibilities
- Bonus for direct resource P&L Responsibilities in the past
- Good German & English language skills
- PMI and/or PRINCE2
