Our Client, a leading Global Consultancy is currently seeking the services of an Infrastructure Operations Analyst with strong MS System Centre skills, predominantly operations manager with the ability to be able to develop configurations and support. The selected candidate will formally report to the DC Operations Manager and will be responsible for day to day operations of Regional Data Center Infrastructure and Systems 24*7*365. We expect the selected candidate will participate in an oncall rotation cycle. The role is based in Prague and will initially be for 3 - 6 months but may be extended beyond this period. Candidates must have excellent English (both written and spoken).

KEY SKILLS:

Experience with SYSTEM CENTER OPERATION MANAGER (SCOM) - configuration, reporting and operations

Knowledge of IT services and extensive technical experience

Familiarity with networking protocols and technologies

Demonstrable expertise in managing capacity and performance

Ability to remotely manage infrastructure and systems

Proficiency in English (spoken and written)

EXPERIENCE/CERTIFICATIONS FOR THE FOLLOWING MICROSOFT STACK TECHNOLOGIES WOULD BE A PLUS:

-Operating System - Windows 2008 R2, Windows 2012
-AD, ADFS
-Threat Management Gateway
-Microsoft IIS 6.0/7.0
-System Center Configuration Manager 2012

DEEP UNDERSTANDING AND HANDS ON EXPERIENCE IN THE FOLLOWING TECHNOLOGIES, CERTIFICATIONS WOULD BE A PLUS:

-server virtualisation (VMware, Hyper-V)
-storage (HP 3PAR), DC SAN Fabrics
-backup (HP data Protector)
-antivirus (McAfee ePO)
-identity Management solutions

THE MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE ROLE ARE:

infrastructure monitoring, responding to Events and Alerts

building infrastructure, Servers, network, storage etc.

implementing and operating data backup and restore processes

managing procurement of hardware and software

incident management and fault resolution with input to problem management

maintaining infrastructure O/S IOS to

development and maintenance of Standard Operating Procedures, documenting configurations and maintaining an asset register

maintenance and servicing of all RDC equipment

delivery of metrics and reporting against SLA's
