Infrastructure Manager / IT Manager

I have a fantastic opportunity working for a manufacturing company based in Swindon as a Infrastructure Manager / IT Manager.

You will lead and manager a team of 12 which provide the network, storage and server infrastructure. You will work with cutting edge technology such as Cisco Network, NetApp storage, AIX & Windows Servers, HP Blades, Virtualisation (VMWare, Vsphere, Citrix XenServer and XenApp).

This is a technical hands on role and working with the team you will be responsible for infrastructure administration, ensuring consistent 2nd and 3rd line support operations. You will also manage server patching and security management, whilst planning for capacity management.

You will ensure the team meet SLA's and make sure there is minimum downtime, whilst updating and maintaining server infrastructure.

Skills require / technically hands on with the following technologies:
- Cisco Network, routers, switches, firewalls
- AIX & Windows Servers, Windows 2003 Server, Windows 2008 Server
- NetApp SAN Storage
- HP Blades
- Virtualisation experience, VMWare, Vsphere, Citrix XenServer and XenApp
- Man-management experience leading a small to medium team
- Good communication skills
- Ability to work under pressure
