Infrastructure Lead - Education Sector - 6 Month Contract

INFRASTRUCTURE LEAD - EDUCATION SECTOR - 6 MONTH CONTRACT

My key client who is based in Birmingham is recruiting for an Infrastructure Lead. The successful Infrastructure Lead will be an all-rounder and have previous experience delivery projects, being involved with strategy, day to day management of the IT functions and working with other departments to create specs.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES
* There will be a strategic element to the role, in that you will be working closely with the client to scope out a potential move and transitioning their systems
* Audits to identify gap analysis
* Day to day management of the IT function (line managing 1 person)
* Hands experience required: Active Directory, Exchange, VMware, Windows packages
* Project Management - working with teams to develop specs for software, ie Payroll/HR systems, room bookings system
* Infrastructure knowledge - email server virtualisation
