Infrastructure Engineer

Our client, a leading financial company is urgently looking for an Infrastructure Engineer to join their team in Amsterdam, the Netherlands for a six month + extension contract.

Roles and Responsibilities:

The aim of the infrastructure team is to make systems available 24/7, 365 for the internal staff and external facing web based platforms. They are also an escalation point for IT service desk staff, security, dev-ops, business users and executive directors for high profile issues and projects.

Provide support and create new capabilities in the fields of network connectivity, virtualisation, server software, hardware, messaging, storage, networking and Firewall configuration.

The ideal candidate will have experience in:

Windows Server

Office 365

MS SQL Server

Cloud experience - preferably Azure

VMware Desirable skills for Infrastructure Engineer

Maintain Configuration information relevant to network (LAN, WAN, VPN), server and database infrastructure
