My client is a large government organization seeking an experience Infrastructure CMDB Designer for a Data Centre Relocation.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

- Define requirements
- Design and pilot a CMDB data collection model
- Review and recommend a CMBD tool

SKILLS:

- Demonstrated knowledge and insight of contemporary data centre infrastructure technologies including virtualisation, networking, clustering, database, Middleware and storage.
- Demonstrated experience in designing, implementing and maintaining a working Configuration Management System and related processes in a complex infrastructure environment.
- In-depth knowledge of Service Delivery processes as they relate to and integrate with Configuration Management
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
- Demonstrated experience in Datamodelling, analysis and data management.
- Comfortable dealing with all levels of internal and external stakeholders.
- Ability to conduct research, facilitate discussions and present ideas
