Infrastructure Architect Senior

INFRASTRUCTURE ARCHITECT SENIOR WANTED FOR OUR ZURICH BASED CLIENT IN THE MANUFACTURING SECTOR.

YOUR EXPERIENCE/SKILLS:

- Higher IT Degree including further training and certification
- 5+ years' experience working as a IT Architect with extensive knowledge of cloud technology
- Solid background in project planning as well as experience in working in a collaborative environment
- Outstanding technical architecture and technical support documentation skills
- LANGUAGES: FLUENT ENGLISH BOTH WRITTEN AND SPOKEN, GERMAN OR OTHER EUROPEAN LANGUAGE SKILLS WOULD BE AN ASSET

YOUR TASKS:

- Providing architectural consulting expertise, direction and assistance as well as scheming, engineering and building-out server monitoring and performance monitoring capabilities
- Working in a Data Center/Azure Cloud environment to design, build-out, configure and support a larger server environment
- Developing and implementing test plan to check infrastructure and systems technical performance in conjunction with reporting on findings and making recommendations for improvement
- Providing guidance and direction to junior members of the team along with communicating and keeping record of plans for investing in IT infrastructure
- Documenting and developing in-depth knowledge of company's existing and future IT Architecture/Infrastructure and technology portfolio
