Infra Designer

We are urgently recruiting for (3) Dutch and French speaking Infrastructure Designers to join our client located in Brussels, Belgium. This is a 6 months contract, with possible extension.

SUITABILITY CHECKLIST:
- Ability to analyse and document applications flows into an application and infrastructure architecture, be it cloud-/web-based or Legacy
- Possesses a strong command of architecture and troubleshooting methodologies in conjunction with a security-minded approach
- Able to interact with business people, application leads, company's and technical engineers based on this infrastructure architecture
- Ability to analyse and document infrastructure components into an infrastructure architecture (high level design + detailed technical design)
- Ability to interact, and give support to IT people, operational teams and subject matter specialists based (for example Firewall, Proxy) on this infrastructure architecture
- Ability to translate application architectures into infrastructure architectures - detailed technical designs, based upon existing documentation and feedback from the people involved in a particular application
- Ability to interact with other designers from the planning centre and follow and understand their processes
- Excellent understanding of network protocols and technology stacks (systems and applications) is necessary
- Extensive & experienced hands - on track record is an asset in dealing with undocumented applications
- Configuration and utilization of network tools specialized in packet capture tools, performance management, troubleshooting, and forensics analysis.
- Ability to analyse network traces in order to understand components dialogs and relationships (session level & packet level)

TECHNICAL SKILLS - Must have's:
Technical Architect expertise knowledge on:
- Unix (Solaris) & Linux technology
- Operating Systems - Clustering - Virtualisation - Hardware
- Hypervisors (VMware - HyperV -
- Operating Systems (Unix (Solaris) & Linux technology (Red Hat family)
- OS Clustering frameworks
- Server Hardware

DESIRABLE SKILLS - NICE TO HAVE'S:
- Knowledge of ITIL, CobIT and ISO standards
- IAM expertise desirable, including public key infrastructure, Identity & Web access management and Federation standards.
- Large environment and/or datacentre migration experience
- Certifications: CISSP, CISM, ISO27001

- Fluent in Dutch and/or French with at least excellent understanding of the other language.
- Fluent spoken & written English is mandatory
