Information Security Manager

My client is seeking an Information Security Manager to govern and improve enterprise-wide Information Security. You will be responsible for manageing the Information Security Management System including the development and governance of Information Security strategy, architecture and capability across the enterprise in line with industry standards. You will also be responsible for identifying and evaluating new and emerging information security trends, innovations and threats, providing appropriate strategic advice to key business and ICT stakeholders.

Essential skills:

- Demonstrated experience in implementing, maintaining and improving information security risk management systems (including ISO 27005)
- Demonstrated experience in working with Accredited Certification bodies in Australia
- Demonstrated experience in managing and improving policies, processes and procedures in a large complex organisation
- Demonstrated experience with enterprise architecture models, and introducing security concepts within these models
- Experience in developing Information Security to meet business's needs and appetite for risk
- Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) or Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) certification
- Demonstrated experience in improving Information Security awareness within an organisation;
- Strong business and commercial acumen
- Excellent presentation, written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal and influencing skills.
