A skilled security engineer is required for a leading asset manager based in Pasadena. The ideal individual will have a strong experience working with Websense as a Web Security Platform, as the successful candidate will be responsible for the platform, and ensure that the asset manager's Internet URL content filtering security policy is fully supported. The information security engineer must also have previous experience in monitoring and researching current industry security threats and analysing and investigating suspicious activities on the web security platform.

KEY SKILLS FOR THE INFORMATION SECURITY ENGINEER (SIEM, TCP, UDP) - LEADING ASSET MANAGER - GREATER LOS ANGELES

- Websense web content security filtering technology
- Support the firm's Internet URL content filtering security policy
- Experience with information security vulnerability management and assessment tools (Qualys, GFI LanGuard, Foundstone)
- Strong knowledge of UDP, TCP and information security protocols
- Experience with network Firewalls and general network architecture
- Exposure to SIEM technologies is highly desirable
- Financial experience is a bonus, but is not required
- CISSP, CISA, CISM or GCFA certified would be a bonus
