Information Security Engineer Job

INFORMATION SECURITY ENGINEER needed for a CONTRACT opportunity with Yoh's client located in Indianapolis, IN.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- Consult with customer throughout SDLC system development and implementation
- Support Project Teams
- Provide Information Security consultation and assessment services
- Perform Information Security risk assessments
- Develop and implement security solutions
- Technical documentation
- Evaluate the design/effectiveness of applied controls for processes, systems, networks, and applications according to security standards
- Make recommendations for addressing identified gaps, corrective actions, and risk remediation plans
- Define and document security requirements

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

- Experience in reviewing software system architecture and design
- Proficiency in multiple disciplines within information security including business process security, data security and classification, access control practices, risk analysis/management, network security and vulnerability management
- Experience conducting information security assessments, risk assessments and recommending solution
- Five (5) plus years of experience in Information Security
- Advanced knowledge of information security risks, controls and practices, knowledge of security regulations including HIPAA/HITECH, Basel II, PCI, etc.
- Knowledge of secure architecture, encryption, protocols and data transmissions technologies

BONUS POINTS! OTHERWISE KNOWN AS PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

- CISSP, CISM and/or CISA highly preferred, HIPAA experience is a plus.
