INFORMATION SECURITY ARCHITECT, CISSP, CISM, CLAS

Information Security Architect required for my client to work on a range of project streams. Your main activity will be to provide direction and advice on programmes, projects and build teams, while delivering efficiencies and security improvements.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS

ESSENTIAL CRITERIA

- Solid knowledge of information security principles, practice and controls
- Excellent negotiation and influential skills   
- Enthusiasm and commitment to delivering quality results to tight deadlines
- Experience designing IL0/IL1/IL2 and IL3 environments
-  A well developed approach to problem solving and decision making
- Good analytical and reasoning skills
- A professional security qualification (eg CISSP, CLAS, CISM or CISA).
- The ability to design security solutions
- Experience in small, medium and large scale projects
- Experience interacting and communicating effectively with senior level executives
- A good understanding of scoping and pricing security solutions
- BPSS level security clearance might be required

DESIRABLE CRITERIA

The ideal candidate will show experience and knowledge in at least two of the following criteria. In addition, eligibility for SC level security clearance is an advantage. 

- Design and implementation of Infrastructure/Network Security
- Identity and Access management products (eg Tivoli, Oracle, CA or Government Gateway)
- Good knowledge in recognised standards (eg ISO 27001, ISO27002, ISO22301, PCI-DSS, TOGAF or SABSA)
- Familiar with security good practices guides (CESG, ISF etc.)
- Technical understanding in infrastructure components (Firewalls, IPS/IDS, Switches, Routers, Load Balancers etc.)
- Ethical Hacking.
