Information Security Analyst Job

An INFORMATION SECURITY ANALYST needed for a CONTRACT opportunity with Yoh's client located in Charlotte, NC.

Top Skills You Should Possess:
- Security Incident Response
- Subject matter expert for questions regarding security and privacy policies
- Operation and optimization of data breach notification; vendor risk assessments and incident management platform
- Participation in the security training program and communications
- Assess and recommend new technologies to align with business objectives

What You'll Be Doing:
- The Information Security Analyst will support the GRC Infrastructure Risk department in executing the security governance and incident management programs.
- Primary responsibilities will include daily operation and ongoing maintenance of enterprise security platforms.

What You Need to Bring to the Table:
- Bachelor's degree with a minimum of (3-5) years Information Security or data privacy experience
- CISSP, CIPP, GIAC, CISM or PMP certifications highly desired
- Knowledgeable of Windows, Unix, Linux operating systems
- Strong knowledge of networking fundamentals, common protocols services and related security issues (SMTP, DNS, TCP/IP 801.1x, TLS)
- Experience with vulnerability assessments and penetration testing
- Strong command of English language (written and oral) at a business level is required
- Technical writing experience
- Experience working in large corporate environments, familiarity with audit processes, familiarity with SSAE-16 reports, SEC, and FINRA regulations as they relate to information security and compliance
- Fundamental understanding of risk management
- Attention to detail
- The security analyst must have experience operating these platforms in a high volume, mission critical environment in a financial services or similar industry.
- The ideal candidate will be able to work independently, possess exceptional written and verbal communication skills and be highly detail oriented.
