Information Security Advisor

As an experienced Information Security Advisor, you will be part of the management team whereby you will guide the Delivery Project Executive in relation to security processes and security tasks; with the continuous goal prtotecting the custome from security threats and risks.

Handling and governing security matters and ensure that security matters are being executed by relevant IT-security service lines or other teams, your goal is to achieve and maintain compliance to Customer Security Policy and provide customer interfaciing management for contracted security services and account security management.

OTHER ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Review of Technical Security Controls and Mechanisms and the effectiveness of existing security practices and mechanisms to recognize needed improvements
- Support and conduct reviews of Security Policy and its controls to confirm compliance with security documents and the contract
- Identify frequency of Security Policy reviews and threat summaries
- Regularly review the delivery environment of the account to identify security risks to client/customers
- Participate in change of control review/approval on request changes that may critically impact the customer's security posture
- Ensure that opportunities to improve security are identified and research new security technologies, practices and recommend additional security services as required

SKILLS COMPETENCY:

- Possess comprehensive knowledge of business processes, tools, security, risk and policies and a broad background in interpreting security requirements
- Level of certification and experience in a security discipline
- Possess a high degree of understandiing and experiencing of all competencies within the Service Delivery framewrok
- Proactive in identifying problem areas and driving resolution or remediation in related parts of an organisation
