-Courses on desk research; finding and using resources for specific types of research; cutting-edge Internet search techniques; repackaging research; abstracting and summarizing accurately; using bibliographic management tools
-Courses on promoting library services and information products; communicating effectively the added value of a library; using statistics and their interpretation; UX (user experience) and usability; writing for the web.
-Courses on how to transfer files across computers connected to the Internet; what is a FTP; understanding how an electronic resource is set up for access to the link placed in different library systems such as OPAC, ERMS (Electronic Resources Management System), Open URL Link Resolver, and the library web site; mobile devices and related technology applicable to libraries
-Courses on the foundations of copyright as it applies to libraries, including fair use, library copying, interlibrary loan copyright compliance, digital copyright
-Courses on Protection of Personal Data, the processing thereof and the related Regulation (EC) 45/2001 on the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of personal data by the Community institutions and bodies and on the free movement of such data
