Information Delivery Specialist - Digital/Interactive

Yoh has a contract opportunity for INFORMATION DELIVERY ANALYST/INTERACTIVE to join one of our leading clients in New York City, NY.

- The Information Delivery Senior Analyst for Digital/Interactive has detailed knowledge of business processes related to the digital video and interactive/mobile business and how these generate and/or use data sets.
- Data specifically focused upon will be both quantitative and qualitative, and job duties include creation, maintenance, or updating of the semantic layer and metadata, reports, report definitions, dashboards, and portals through which business users may easily access aggregated data in an understandable and coherent form.
- The position will require a high level of interaction and coordinating of activities with other Enterprise Architecture processes and technology domains to maintain a unified, consistent information delivery system, working closely with business users and business analysts to ensure a tight fit between the BI environment and business requirements.
- The position is an analyst-level position and requires coordination with internal and external technical resources engaged in a variety of activities, such as data integration/modelling, data stewardship, and report/dashboard development.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Works with data analysts/modelers and ETL developers to identify data sources and define appropriate logical models that accurately reflect existing business processes.
- Assumes ownership of one or more data elements and is the central contact point the organization for information about the origins and revisions to those data elements; responsible for the accuracy of the data in these elements, both within operational and conformed data repositories.
- Coordinates development of a multi-dimensional semantic layer, BI query objects, reports and report templates for business users.
- Helps business users select the appropriate BI tool(s).
- Collaborate with Enterprise Architecture and other Enterprise Technology Services (ETS) domains to lead and ensure development and delivery of enterprise information delivery solutions.
- Ensure policies and standards are followed across the organization.
- Deliver services that meet internal KPIs and customer SLAs.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

- Certified Business Intelligence Professional (CBIP) or related certification is preferred.
- Undergraduate degree in the field of computer science or engineering or equivalent experience is required.
- Thorough understanding of Business Intelligence related Reporting Tools, Visualization, Analytics, Dashboards, KPIs, Scorecards and Predictive Analysis through tools and technologies such as SAP Business Objects and Tableau.
- At least eight (8) years of Business Intelligence Management or related service delivery experience.
