Working for an established company, the ideal applicants will join a multi-disciplinary engineering team as the IA Practitioner. You will be responsible for the ownership of all Information Assurance aspects of a specific design area, including support to design and provision of general consultancy to the Engineering Discipline. Other duties will include;
*Champion Information Assurance and advocate its practice, relevance and necessity through education
*Liaison with MOD customers in support of Information Assurance activities
*Presentations at design reviews in support of Information Assurance Work
*The conduct of HMG-approved Risk Calculations and the establishment of mitigations where appropriate, including the production of Information Assurance documentation as appropriate
*Conduct of Security working groups
*Completion of regular progress reports
*Attendance at sub-system level progress meetings and presentations

Person/Qualifications:
*Experience of Information Assurance work in ideally within the Government Sector; Defence, Police, Home Office, Health
*Experience of Risk Assessments, the establishment of mitigations and the concise documentation of an Accreditation Case
*Direct responsibility for the accreditation of at least one HMG project. Knowledge of HMG policies, to include: JSP440, SPF, CESG IA Portfolio
*Excellent presentation and communication skills
*The ability to influence others in a challenging environment
