RESPONSIBILITIES

- Develops strategic solutions to support the various activities as related to In Licensing and Divestitures of products in line with the Company's business development strategy.
- Partners with cross-functional stakeholders within Business Technology, Business Development and other stakeholders to ensure adequate support and oversight for In Licensing/Divestiture deals to meet defined requirements and timelines.
- Liaises with business stakeholders and internal/external groups to provide/review impact assessments of complex business requirements.
- Develops tactical plans to manage migration of relevant safety information in a timely manner.
- Identifies key risks and develops mitigation/contingency plans to manage known risks.
- Identifies opportunities for improvement of processes and applications, working with cross-functional teams to implement required changes to these processes and applications.
- Participates in In Licensing/Divestiture activities for the portfolio of Safety applications.
- Reviews and interprets Company obligations for PV responsibilities and data migration needs based on business agreements.
- Assesses impact and advises appropriate stakeholders as required.
- Coordinates the activities of the operational resources and other lines as applicable to manage timely completion of key deliverables for In Licensing/Divestiture deals.
- Effectively communicates needs and gains stakeholder alignment and collaboration to successfully deliver timely completion of all In Licensing/Divestiture deals.
- Provides solutions to operations' issues and communicates these solutions in an influential manner to relevant stakeholders resulting in appropriate decisions.
- Maintains a collaborative program of continuous improvement within the organization.
- Completes training in accordance with the Company's Safety Information Management curriculum.

SKILLS
Must have 4-7 years of Drug Development experience. Must have a minimum of 6 years or relevant experience in data management with clinical safety data and business processes in the pharmaceutical industry, including an understanding of the drug development process. Familiarity with relational databases and system architecture. Experience with vendor oversight and management. Knowledge of Safety, Regulatory, and Document management systems and technologies. Experience with query tools/data extraction techniques (ie SQL, PL/SQL). Bachelor's Degree in life sciences, or Information Management or related discipline required. Graduate Degree in Information Management/Business/Project Management is preferred. Strong verbal, written communication and presentation skills required. Experience with Oracle databases and Business Objects preferred. Knowledge/experience reviewing business contracts/legal agreements preferred. Knowledge of FDA, EMEA and ICH regulations is preferred.
