Our client, one of the biggest pharmaceutical companies based in Basel, is looking for an INFORMATION ARCHITECTURE EDUCATION LEAD with strong coordination and leadership skills and proven track record of decision taking and escalations handling.

This is a contracting role based in the Basel area and planned to start mid of September until end of the year with extension opportunities.

BACKGROUND:

This Pharma Informatics Information Architecture Framework, directly supports Pharma Informatics' increasing focus on information as a strategic asset. Launched in 2017, the Information Architecture team comprises information architects and regional representatives from across the organization who have worked together to build the foundational components of the Information Architecture Framework, to define and socialize Pharma Informatics Information vision, and to develop a roadmap to roll out information architecture as an integral component of our organization. In 2018, the team will establish a formalized governance structure, and will embed Information Architecture across key projects and programs.

TASKS:

Embed the operating model of Information Architecture into Pharma Informatics through:

- Publish and promote guidance on the purpose and capabilities of the business glossaries, pharma information model and information flows
- Lead the Infrastructure Architect Ambassadors Network to ensure effective sharing and collaboration on the education needs and content within the communities of practice for: Project Managers, Business Solution Managers, Business Analysts, Solution Architects, Information Architects, Delivery Service Managers, Usability/UX
- Ensure the education programs have a rollout plan and execute against the plan to educate the members on information architecture
- Ensure IT governance bodies are educated in the changes needed to leverage information architecture.
- Ensure the governance bodies plan and execute any required changes

IDEAL PROFILE:

- 5+ YEARS OF RELEVANT EXPERIENCE in EDUCATION DELIVERY and COORDINATION
- Knowledge and Experience in IT ARCHITECTURE with a focus on information and data
- Good leadership skills and proven track record of decision taking and escalations handling
- Excellent English language skills
- Experience in MULTI-SITE DEPLOYMENT PROJECT
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to arbitrate between a wide range of stakeholders to come to a solution (former work experience with stakeholders would be a big plus)
