Information Analyst

Following the merger of commissioning support services, we require a person to lead on the delivery of a unified demand planning process for the two counties.

We are seeking an experienced senior information lead/project coordinator for between four to six months, to take project management responsibility and provide analytical support to help carry out the project.

Supporting development of 2013/14 acute contract plans agreed by the CCGs, working closely with leads across Clinical Commissioning, Business Intelligence, Contracting and Finance.

On behalf of the Director of Contracts, this person will project manage the delivery of robust activity and finance plans to agreed deadlines and quality standards across all contracts whilst working in a fast paced changeable environment. Additionally, they will assist in supplementing analytical capacity as required.

The ideal candidate must be an experienced NHS analyst, have excellent project management skills and strong interpersonal communications (written, oral, presentation, facilitation) and negotiation skill. Knowledge of NHS contract activity planning is essential.

* An NHS background including extensive analysis of acute data
* Understanding of QIPP planning processes
* Project management experience
* Excellent communication and negotiation skills
* Excel, SQL
* Good understanding of PbR and NHS commissioning
