Informatica Administrator Job

INFORMATICA ADMINISTRATOR needed for a LONGTERM CONTRACT OPPORTUNITY with Yoh's client located in St. Louis, MO.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- Responsible for monitoring various environments and resolve any issues.
- Schedule and monitor server maintenance activities like backup, purging logs. etc.
- Maintenance of Informatica filesystem space, security and cleanup in various environments.
- Unix Scripting related to automating Informatica administration tasks and project work.
- Work with development team in troubleshooting issues and providing more insight from administrator perspective.
- Work with project team/owners in resolving production job issues and timely restart/completion of it
- Experience in 24x7 production support. Monitoring and troubleshooting issues related to failed production jobs.
- Provide timely update about ongoing issues and escalation to management.

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE:

- Over five (5) years of solid experience in Informatica Power Center and Power Exchange (versions 8.6.1 to 9.5.1.)
- Experience in Administration day to day activities like setup of users, groups, folders and related security.
- Experience in code deployment from one environment to another.
- Ability to analyze dependencies and work accordingly for deployment.
- Should be experienced in doing upgrades across versions
- Should possess an overall experience of 8 years hands-on & at least three (3) years as Informatica administrator
- Should be an expert in installation, configuration, performance tuning, vendor liaison on multiple OS including Windows & Unix/Linux
- Experience in setup and configuration of new Informatica environment/Servers.
- Knowledgeable in setup of new Informatica services and troubleshoot any issues related to it.
- Experience in planning and executing upgrade and cutover of Informatica from version 8.6.1 to 9.5.1. a plus
