Industrial Engineer/Mechanical Engineer Job

An exceptional contract career opportunity has arisen for a skilled Engineer with Industrial/Mechanical Engineering experience.

My client is based in the hub of engineering on the south coast near Portsmouth and has a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Mechanical or Industrial Engineer that is looking for a challenging and long term contract opportunity. My client is working in partnership with a major project in the development of launch structures for the latest space program.

THE PROJECT;

Working on an innovative and bespoke project to integrate and assemble metal and composite structures and also involving production transfer.

Candidates with a background in Mechanical or Industrial types of engineering who are experienced with large relocation projects for manufacturing facilities and then engineering the build of the internal structures/platforms for those facilities will have suitable experience for this type of work.

WORK WILL INCLUDE;

- 4 months work based in Switzerland
- Trips to USA
- Remainder of the contract based near Portsmouth on the South Coast

LOOKING FOR CANDIDATES WITH EXPERIENCE IN;

- Assembly/integration of metal and composite structures
- Production transfer
- Facility build up

This is a fantastic opportunity that offers experience on a bespoke project that is specialist to my client and will offer a challenging yet rewarding contract position. Mechanical/Industrial Engineers who are interested in this position should act quickly to apply as this type of role won't be available for long. Earning potential for this position is very competitive but will be based on experience. This is a minimum contract of 2 years that has the potential to be extended for a further 2 years depending on project milestones.
