Independent Prescribing Recovery Nurse - Edinburgh

Our client currently has vacancy for an Independent Prescribing Recovery Nurse to work in Edinburgh, with a pay rate of 25-30 per hour.

Duties -
- Assessing prescribing needs and agree and review recovery plans.
- Providing pre and post test discussion for HIV, Hepatitis B and C ensuring clients have the information to make informed decisions.
- Providing safe vaccination for Hepatitis B and A.
- Accurately interpret virology results and other relevant tests.
- Providing independent prescribing for service users in line with a Recovery Plan.
- Ensuring that clients receive regular medical reviews in line with their Recovery Plan.

Requirements -
Applicants must have RMN or RGN registration and relevant experience/training in BBV's and Viral Hepatitis. All applicants must also be a qualified Independent/Supplementary Prescriber.
