Ashfield Homes Limited is recognised as a leader in its field of social housing in the not for profit sector. An opportunity has arisen for an Independent Member to join our Board of Non-Executive Directors. You will play a vital role in directing a well-established local housing organisation, working alongside three other Independent Board Members and four shareholder nominee Board Members.

We are an Arm's Length Management Organisation (ALMO) responsible for the management, maintenance and modernisation of over 7000 Council properties for Ashfield District Council with approximately 200 employees, and an annual turnover of circa £11 million.

INDEPENDENT BOARD MEMBER

YOU WILL:

- LIVE OR WORK IN ASHFIELD OR SURROUNDING AREA
- HAVE SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE OR EXPERIENCE OF THE LOCAL GOVERNMENT, SOCIAL HOUSING, FINANCE OR THE PRIVATE BUSINESS SECTOR
- HAVE ENTHUSIASM, COMMITMENT, VISION AND TIME TO VOLUNTEER
- RECEIVE OUT OF POCKET EXPENSES
