Independant Reviewing Officer

We are currently seeking an experienced Independent Reviewing Officer to join a Looked after team for an interim of 3 months initially.

Duties for this role would include

Responsibility for chairing a defined proportion of all reviews of Children Looked After across Wiltshire, largely based upon geographical area.

Assisting the Area Services Manager and Senior IRO in ensuring compliance with quality standards for looked after children and monitoring plans.

To monitor the implementation of care plans.

To chair occasional Child Protection Conferences as a back-up to the Child
Protection Co-ordinators.

To Apply for this position you must have

A Degree in Social Care
Proven post qualifying experienced within this field at this level.
HCPC registration
Access to own vehicle
Currently residing and eligible to work in the UK
